*Disclaimer text - this blog post is in response to the previous post titled "I never claim to be a style maven...". If you didn't read that post, perhaps you will want to go back and read it first, or else this post really doesn't make sense.
So excuse me that I can't have a post on "Your Questions Answered" like Erika Powell, because truthfully in this one way relationship of *my* blog, I get very few comments and feedback in the little section at the bottom of each blog post designated by the three little words "Post a Comment".
However, I will do a similar post on "Nancy's Questions Answered" because:
- She had several good questions/comments
- I can't post a reply comment and have her get the responses on my blog
- Yes, I could just pick up the phone and talk to her, but let's be honest this is funnier, isn't it?
So here goes:
- Thank you Nancy. I try to keep my posts interesting, funny and well-written, but clearly I do fall short and offer up some pretty mundane stuff sometimes. Every now and then I need to shake it up. I think Hershey's said it best in their Almond Joy/Mounds commercials, "Sometimes you feel like a nut. Sometimes you don't."
- I don't think the new nomenclature will stick, nor do I actually think Teeth Man will like it because he'd prefer to remain anonymous on Facebook and my blog and because he doesn't really like to highlight his professional accomplishments. I do wish I had a cute nickname for him and my kids like many bloggers do, including yourself. For now, because, as I mentioned, I'm a good copycat...I'm stealing your idea. Next, I will call Paige "Raiger" and Jack "Rover".
- The new mattress is a Serta iComfort. It's Serta's response to TempurPedic, but because TempurPedic's biggest complaint is they make people hot, Serta has added a gel layer that helps make the bed feel cool, not cold. It was also quite a bit cheaper than TempurPedic. We bought ours from Turners. You are more than welcome to come give it a spin. And since it is a king, we have more than enough room for you. Although, you will have to sleep in the middle and promise not to spoon me {or Ben for that matter}!
So there you have it. Thanks, Nancy for your comments and questions and anyone else feel free to chime in!
I love this so much, i too will never have a Q&A quite like Erika's :) Love the bed, i want one and I love the Raiger and Rover and I love you room and bath!! Great job!! I need a headboard like that!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laughs today. Back in the running shoes today - a week off and my mile is averaging 10 minutes 24 seconds {for two whole miles}. Not to shabby. Wonder when I will be able to add the other 11.1 miles to this run....
ReplyDeleteLove it!! Who knew that the quiet little Shanny has been hiding her comedic side!!
ReplyDeleteI think I may have torn my side from laughing so hard! Priceless Shannon! Love it. Rian
