The Grooters Gang is heading west for a family wedding in Tahoe, Ca. I know nothing about Lake Tahoe, except that I've heard it is beautiful. I'm excited to explore a new place while gathering with family from far away. Almost one year ago, we were out this way for a Grooters-Schurke Family Reunion. Who would have thought that we'd be back in this neck of the woods {to quote Al Roker} with the same gang again this summer for a family wedding {I don't even think the bride and groom knew}.
I hope to be doing some of this...
And a little bit of that...
But to say that Ben and I aren't looking forward to traveling is an vast understatement. Taking two little kids {one a very active 19-month-old} on an 8-hour plane ride, then getting in a car for another 45 minutes over three time zones is never that much fun. Add to the fact that Paigey started throwing up yesterday and you've got a recipe for disaster. Let's just hope it isn't as bad as we are expecting.
We are, however, looking forward to highs in the 80s and lows in the 40s with 0 percent humidity – go ahead and be jealous of that!
