Grandma Vicki, Nana {Yenna} and Poppy {Barry} joined us for Halloween again this year. Poppy manned his post on the front porch as candy-passer-outer and made the masses of children happy. We have one of those neighborhoods, and particularly live on one of those streets that gets several transient trick-or-treaters. They cleaned us out of, not one but, three households of candy! Believe me when I say, we have a strict, two-piece-per-child handout limit. Our house, alone, supplied six bags of candy.
The Clicks also joined us at the last minute so that Jack could show "Little Logan" the ropes {she used to be "Baby Logan", but I think she's now outgrown that name, so we will change her nickname to Little Logan from here forward}.
By the end of the night, Little Logan was much too tired to carry her large sack o' candy. She demanded that Jack {and only Jack} carry her candy bag. He obliged, like the little gentleman he is. I swear these two are destined to be betrothed. At least Logan thinks so!
In case you weren't already aware, but Jack's costume is the Bumblebee Transformer. Paige we figured only made sense as a bumblebee. Paige was mostly along for the ride but I think she somehow already knows about what to do with Halloween candy.
We carved our pumpkin earlier in the day. Jack aptly named him Peter, Peter Pumpkin-Eater.
It was a great Halloween. As Jack gets older, each holiday gets better and better!!
