Found a few options to my shared bedroom dilemma. The navy and green crib set is from Serena and Lily and is on sale for the bargain basement price of $250. The boys bed set in coordinating colors called "Gabe" is quite a bit more expensive, but nonetheless, I could probably find a less expensive alternative elsewhere. So this would be an easy solution and honestly $250 is pretty reasonable, the full retail price typically run just under $1,000!
The blue and green turtles and pink and green snails are a cute option from Gap's nursery/baby gear line. However, they only come in crib sets, so I am currently seeking a similar fabric or creative solution for the big boy. I love the idea of still getting my pink crib set, but Gap apparently really likes their crib sets because they go for $250 a piece as well. Too much of a stretch to justify buying the crib set and adapting it for the big boy bed. Thus, the search goes on. Keep the good ideas coming my way.
