Speaking of pregnant bellies, today was my seven months doctor appointment and all is well. The baby is moving well, blood pressure was good and glucose screening was negative. The baby is measuring right at 29 weeks and I've put on a cool 12 pounds. I can definitely predict right now that this little girl is going to be smaller than her big brother and boy will I be thankful, if so.
Speaking of the big bro, you've probably noticed that many of his photos feature superhero t-shirts. I'm guessing he will end up being a superhero for Halloween this year. I'm still trying to figure out the whole costume, but this past weekend, I found the cape so I'm well on my way. While I was off shopping, Jack spent some much needed time with Nana and Poppy. He came home with a new pair of PJ's and some Transformer rain boots. I think he likes them. What do you think?
I didn't get him in the rain boots, but I assure you he wears them a lot. Oh, I should mention that I gave him a much needed haircut on Sunday. It was getting so long and hard to manage (comb that is) that I just had to finally cut it (sorry Ben). I did it myself, as I usually end up doing, because the barber is always afraid to cut it. Think there is something about those curls that makes them fearful that I will flip out if they cut too much off. Anyways, I know that the cooler and less humid weather will be coming soon and I hate to see the hair falling in the eyes, so a cut was indeed necessary.
That kid's shiner makes me hurt....by the way, the pjs would work great as his costume. Oh yeah, when I was a kid, I put balloons in not as a belly, but as 'ninnies' and showed the church secretary (which sufficiently embarrassed my mom).
