Fall Festivities

Last week, although balmy and warm, was filled with Fall festivities to celebrate the season. Little Lambs Preschool rang in the holiday with a Falltober Fun Week.

Monday was Whacky Tacky Day and Jack was pretty whacky and tacky in his plaid shirt and shorts worn over sweat pants and Transformer rain boots.

Wednesday was pajama day and he was one of 3 other kids that wore their Superman PJ's to school.

Friday was Cowboy Day...kids dressed up like cowboys and cowgirls and took pictures on the pony then took horseback rides around the playground. Festivities also included making stick horses, lunches of hotdogs and rattlesnake beans and music around the camp with Miss Joanie.

Monday evening we also ventured to the Pumpkin Patch to pick out our pumpkin for carving and to take photos with Terri Smith (terrismithphoto.com) for the second annual "Clicks for a Cure". Sitting fees were donated by Terri to the TMH Foundation in honor of Nancy's late mother-in-law, Marsha Click. As usual, Terri did an awesome job and raised a whopping $600 for the cause. Thanks again Terri!

Friday evening Papa Roger and Grandma Vicki came in town for the Halloween weekend. They helped us carve our pumpkin in preparation.

As you can already tell, Jack was a superhero this year for Halloween. The costume was a big hit with him. Below is a Smilebox (thanks for the idea, Nancy) slideshow of our Halloween Saturday. At 4 pm we went to Nana Boo and Papa Bob's house for the second annual Boo Bash hosted by Blaine and Nancy. We were then home around 7pm for trick-or-treating in the neighborhood.
