Great-Grandma and Giggles

Yesterday we made a trip to Jacksonville to see my Grandma Josie {my dad's mom}. Seeing her was rather bittersweet. Her health is great, but in the past several years her memory and recollection are fading. It was nice to bring Jack and Paige around one of their two surviving great-grandparents, but I wish she recognized me {actually, I think she recognizes me, she just doesn't remember my name or affiliation to her} and could understand that these two beautiful children were her great-grandchildren. I am, however, thankful that she is still around. She is almost 88 years {Sept. 16} and has seen so much more of life than any of my other grandparents – so for that, I am thankful!

Paige and Grandma took to each other right away.

Aunt Pam and Grandma are lots of fun.

Three generations of women.

Aunt Jan lovin' on Grandma and Grandma lovin' on her Hershey Kisses.

And finally wrangled Jack into a picture, too!

This one was cute of Paige with her Daddy.

Paige loves the boys in her life. Daddy and Jack can both really get Paige laughing. How about this for her brotherly love...

He was throwing toys and she would giggle hysterically for about 5 minutes before I caught it on video. The joke was fading, but luckily I caught just a little bit before it stopped.
