For Mother's Day, we enjoyed a homemade {all by Ben} brunch then my mom, Vicki, Jack and I went to The Tallahassee Ballet's spring performance of Cinderella. First of all, this organization holds a special place in my heart because I got so many wonderful experiences from the 10 years that I was a dancer in the company. These experiences included, poise, character, confidence, grace even in the face of disappointment, lifelong friendships, scholarships to dance in Washington, DC and New York and a trip across the pond to Ireland to perform.
I hope that one day Paige wants to follow in her mommy's footsteps and dance on the same stage that I once danced and who knows, maybe she'll achieve even greater success than I did. I will at least give it the old college try to garner her interest in the arts. We are starting early by playing classical music and putting on a tutu, tiara and ballet slippers and dancing around the playroom.
Hmm, I don't think this is right.
That's better!
Watching Baby Mozart.
I love chubby legs and tulle!
I only wish I would have liked it on me when I was dancing.
Pirouette.
Aren't I tutu cute?
Paige thought maybe Buzz should get in the spirit.
Wipe that smirk off your face Buzz, you know you like it!
What Jack doesn't know won't hurt him, right?
Good job dancing, Buzzy!
What a wonderful Mother's Day it was and here's to ballerina dreaming!
I could eat her ALIVE!! Love her thighs and her in a tutu!! Can't wait to see P with Lilly and Logan dancing on stage together!!
